Several buildings located at 351, 353, 355, and 357 Broadway between Leonard and Franklin have been sold and vacated:
Property records indicate that all three buildings were sold to 353-357 BROADWAY LLC for a total of $85.6 Million plus additional air rights from 357 Broadway for $8 million
Perhaps someone more skilled can calculate the amount of available square footage on this project and can possibly dig up what they are planning to build. These are the sales records I found:
351 Broadway (lot 36) - 2/26/15 - $21,000,000

353 Broadway (lot 35) - 8/14/15 - $37,018,593

355-357 Broadway (lot 34) - 8/15/14 - $27,636,670

Those buildings were bought by Toll Brothers. I read that it is to be a 19 story building, 98 luxury apartments. Construction to start summer of 2016 and building should be completed in 2018.
geez, you'd thing they would be leasing the ground retail for a short term period instead of leaving it vacant. At least give the deli a one year extension.
what a waste
Demolition has begun. Update from Tribeca Citizen:

There are so many stunning old buildings in this area. It will be great to lose these eyesores.
