Zippy went to Italy for quite a while last year.
Well, ever since I started working DOB I have not (ironically) been coming here much.
Seeing no Lofter was a bummer, but it also seemed like things...calmed down a bit since I was last here.
Good to get SOME response though! Another site I used to visit still has their message board up and they are lucky to get a message or two a month! (Total!)

No lofter, no Zippy. I wish them well, wherever they are and whatever they're doing. And thank you all, WNY members, for the lively discussions.

I can't help wondering if Zippy's absence is because he finally learned that Lofter's fate was worst case and that being here on WNY is a painful reminder of his loss, especially since they'd both been posting and interacting for so long. I sure hope Zippy is OK and that we'll see him again in time.
