Default Massive Crane collapses at Worth and West Broadway - with fatalities

Anyone know what construction project this is for? I see early reports of it being at 40 Worth... but not familiar with anything going on there.
Seems like it was being used for demolition from initial reports. Crane is reported to be a city block in length - 1+ dead, 15+ injured, and a subway rerouted around the area while they check for damage.
