If these were meant to be "before and after" shots, I think you forgot to post the "before" versions. *All of the food is gone.

I imagine that there could be several definitions of the nature of this type of the photography.

I remember reading somewhere that in some primitive tribes it is considered indecent exposure to let someone see you put food in your mouth. Some parallels can be drawn between consuming food and performing sex. These photographs present half-consumed food, shamelessly exposed, with the virgin white of the sour cream stained with the seeds of beluga caviar. I guess it could be called food pornography.
