I cant remember where I saw it but there was a huge hollow-structure 'spire' planned for there. A bit like the THINK plan for the wtc but only 1 tower and slightly thinner and higher.
Hey folks- I was wondering if anyone had any renderings of the cancelled NYSE Building that are different from this one:
I thought I remembered seeing one that was an elevation view, but I'm not sure.
Can anyone help?

This isnt the one I was describing but its another proposal:

Thanks.I was looking for another rendering of the other one, though.
Can I get a 'rendering by Richard Baehr'?Originally Posted by emmeka
If you use a rendering please make the effort to find the author and give a proper credit. It's, at the very least, a matter of respect.
This forum is frustrating. I have just created a profile for the third time. I see 'attach signature' checked, but it didn't.

Yowza. That NYSE Tower is gigantic. That's the one Trump had proposed, right?
I was down on the floor of the exchange, a few years ago, talking to a few brokers who worked in "The Garage," who told me the place was over capacity...just brimming with too many people...still, nothing done...so strange and unfortunate.
Too bad that huge rendering has no chance of getting build. I'd love to see that go up.
The signatures are not enabled on this forum, as described in the forum issues section.Originally Posted by burden3
These are great rendreings, but is there any word on them ever building a structure for the NYSE in the near future ?
I myself, dont know NY sailor.
But, I think It would be great.
Downtown needs it. If anything is to be built, we'd hear about it shortly after the WTC reconstruction debate dies down.
If i had time then I would, but unfortunatley I dont have that luxuary.Originally Posted by burden3
