NYT has about 800,000 of the 1.6 million and BOA has 1 million of the 2.1 million

Thanks. I hope that the Chinese group anchors a new building, and I'd like to see one rise on the east side of Midtown. There are some sites on Madison and Lex that could be razed in favor of new towers.

a office tower over PA would hopefully help further drive out the element of that area

They could gentrify the area even moreso by razing a lot of crap that exits on 8th between the Post Office and 42nd Street (and for that matter up to 59th).

Chinese need th espace soon, so i dont think they could wait for three years. Anyway this is a great spot and if they really put themself to it, the PA could land a tenant quick, same goes for Milstein on 42nd if he actually wanted to build. Hey were is that guy from six months ago that posted on that link that a tenant was lined up???

As I said earlier, I still believe Milstein should be kicked off of that site and we should have a real developer brought in.

If they ever built that, I will be happy with that. But what is the wait... it is such a hot area and office class A big spaces is in a shortage. I mean if there is a time to built more office buildings in Midtown the time is now.

I am lso getting more frustrated with the east south corner on 42nd and 8th. I mean they could built a hotel there or something.
