Seattle would be my choice too. The drive along Alki beach is amazing with its view of the skyline. Or take a ferry into the city from the islands at night.
I wanna hear your opinion on which west coast city has the best skyline. I mean from the southern part of California all the way to British Columbia.
As for me, Seattle would be my choice for this one. It has several skyscrapers that are over 700 ft and is over looking the harbour.

I like Seattle the best too. Unique buildings, great setting.
Oh my god, this is so weired, I would choose Seattle too!
Seattle. SF kinda has a good skyline too.
Los Angeles. I always wonder why LA always gets such a bad rep.
I also think that LA has the largest collection of modern architecture in the world!
I'd say San Francisco. The setting is just gorgeous and it's my favorite West Coast city.
I'll go with San Diego.
San Francisco was originally my first choice for this one but it's skyscrapers lack the height of Seattle's. LA on the other hand has the tallest buildings in the West Coast but it's skyline is not that impressive. Usually skylines look better if they were in a waterfront. If San Diego or Vancouver build some supertalls, their skyline would look impressive.
San Diego has a height limit of 500 feet throughout the city. Vancouver had a similar height constraint to protect views of the mountains until recently, when the City Council upzoned some places to +-600 feet.
Dont get me wrong, I really really like SF and LA as well, in fact i like them equally.
It's not the tallest skyline in the world, but it can still take your breath away...
Pigeon Point, California.

I would have to say Vancouver. Although Vancouver does not have the height, it is super dense with highrise condominiums and office towers. The backdrop of the mountains makes it look almost surreal.
