To his credit, it does block some of his view of one of my favorite buildings in the city.

My view?! I wish that was my view! That's just from the Hilton.

And come on, this thing looks awful from any direction. It looks like something you'd see built in Fargo. And Zippy knows that aint a good thing.

Oh man, I'm sorry dude. You need better views. Gimme 2 weeks until my office moves, and I'll take some shots.

This structure belongs either in roosevelt island or an upstate city, not at all appropriate for a new construction next to the most famous site in the world.

Odd wall angles and window placements.

Like a grown-up version of an Our Gang clubhouse.

It looks so FLAT. Like the windows are just stickers on the wall or something....

Yeah, this was brought up back in the thread.

A simple warehouse in DUMBO being renovated. Set back windows makes a big difference.

^^ It's not so bad, kinda reminds me of the windows on the WFC buildings, which are also perfectly flush with the masonry.

It will also be much better once sealed and cleaned up. The non-windowed areas are hurting the shape of the building right now. The panels outside are settling, but haven't been sealed with similar colored grout yet, and the lime washout is still on the walls. This will be solid, if not amazing when done. Additionally, getting some brick down here is a welcome change from all the glass. I'd hate to see 1775 BWay in this space (the reclad version). That would drag the house of mirrors theme further north.
