That's right. They're literal as a dead fish.

This thing is rising fast. 3 more floors (I think 1 of them is double height) and we'll be at the last setback.

Isn't there an extra setback on one side? Let me see if I can find a render...

It looks like it's only on the east side and while it's tough to tell, it's in the next 2 or 3 floors I think. Oh, and look at that, the "extra" setback looks like it's the last one. How interesting. These renderings don't all seem to match, some show an even number of setbacks and others do not. Well, I guess we can always just wait and see too.

This tower is really starting to pop up over the downtown neighbors.

They are flying - about 1 storey every 1.5 working days recently.

Holy cow, corrected perspective! Sorry I don't have the money for a T&S lens; it's done with a computer. They're done the second floor of cladding above the setback as of today, but I don't have photos of that.

I smile every time I come out of the subway at City Hall...it's pretty jaw-dropping.

It looks like they are about half way across on the 12th storey of this stack, which seems to me to be the final storey in the stack, based upon a count of storeys depicted in the rendering and the higher ceiling height of the storey that's going up right now. So assuming the recent pace continues we should see the next setback by the end of the coming week.

On a sidenote, the storey that's currently going up completes the blockage of view from Brooklyn of that 200 West GS POS.
