Where's Waldo, the GS version ...
How many security cameras can be counted in Derek's first photo?

9 or 10? They also have private security and NYPD.
^^ Lol! GS seems to be quite paranoid if you ask me! Nevertheless I like this building - it's massive, bulky, tall and more important: it closes a gap in the skyline. It fits perfectly in Lower Manhattan with all the big, fat, boxy towers.

Probably the greatest set of Manhattan helicopter shots I've ever seen:

I was wondering how he got such fancy shots, but it looks like he is just rehosting some AP/Getty Images/Bloomberg photos.
Not that I'm complaining. I'm not even sure how to get shots from those agencies at full resolution.
Fun to look at, from these perspectives. Unfortunately we walk on ground and not in the air.
There are 29 surveillance cameras along West St. Not counting any that might be hidden in the shrubbery.
I think that this building is quite nice, especially by NY's low standards. A Boston Properties-Macklowe fat box could have been built here.
Does the new GS HQ have solar panels on the roof of the base?
My guess was top lighting for the trading floors.
Right, they must be skylights. It wouldn't make sense to to place solar panels there.
Perfect facade for Goldman to spell out messages like "we stink"

Seems they already do. I didn't notice this until I saw the photo today.
