    A second crane tower is up.

    The NE corner of the slab remains to be poured.

    The buttresses are removed after the framing is installed.

    Took this hastily put together panorama from Embassy Suites on Saturday. I think I counted 16 different varieties of cranes. I'll post more later if I get the time.

    Look at all that construction. That Chamber street tower should have destroy that little unattractive little building aswell. Oh well.

    Sidewalk Superintendents Local 1 objects to this project, in that there are insufficient viewing areas, as well as a complete lack of interpretive displays around the site. This insensitivity to our needs cries out for resolution. If we don't get our demands met, we might have to start off with some informational picketing. If push really comes to shove, we might have to take a walk...which by the way, is something we do pretty well already. Who's with me?!!

    Downtown is in a big boom. Good to see.

    So glad this building is finally beggining to rise. I just wish I can say the same thing for the Freedom Tower
