Watch out for my Bloomberg Tower on the full-size shot.
    It's too skinny and backwards!

I am a big SimCity fan. I'm currently playing SimCity 4: Rush Hour, and there are plenty of NYC landmarks available: Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Grand Central, Rockefeller Center, and more.

Ive never tried Sim City 4, unfortunatly my comp hasnt got adequate memory. Is there any way to transfer the landmarks into a compatable format for the SC200 urban renewal kit?

When I tried doing a SC3 sim of New York, I always hated the Empire State Building Landmark. Its real-life north-south axis was oriented east to west, plus the way-too-short tower was broad on one side and narrow on the other, making it look like a slab rather than a square pinnacle. Plus there was no Chrysler Building, Woolworth Building, Citicorp, 40 Wall, WFC, MetLife, TWT (though I wouldn't expect it because the game was made before the building was finished) or 70 Pine. And they had the WTC Towers, but no plaza, no Marriott, no Building Seven.

Of course, with the ten-landmark limit I wouldn't be able to fit all of that in; but oh well.

One thing that I really wish they'd have done was have the option to build an elevated train, not to mention trolleys/light rail/what have you.

You can do that in the newest version. 8)

Benreturns: I don't think you can, but I'm not sure because I haven't worked much with the Urban Renewal Kit.

If you purchase SimCity 4 with the Rush Hour Expansion Pack, you can build monorails, ferry terminals, elevated trains, and more. Here is some more information. Hope this helps.

Yep, I'm pretty sure SC4 is available for Macs...I'm not sure if Rush Hour for Mac is out yet, but it should be soon.
