Some nice photos, Gulcrapek; thank you.
One tiny correction--not that it matters so: the new building to the south of Washington Square Park is the not the Kimmel Center; it's a new building for NYU's law school called Furman Hall.
I couldn't think of a title for this so yeah. We went to drive my sister to Chinatown for the bus back to Boston, and I had a few pictures to shoot for a school assignment (on a regular cam), so I took my digital and afterwards we went to Washington Square Park.
A lot are from inside a car so they're not so great, but you get the idea.
From Flatbush Avenue, looking through part of Metrotech
9 Metrotech South/15 Metrotech; this building is hard to take photos of because the reflective windows confuse the camera. Blurred out bricks

Kimmel Center and a church tower by Wash. Sq
Too wide for one picture, sorry. What you leave behind..
I didn't have the guts to take a picture of 2 dogs humping in Washington Square. My assignment was love and hate, so I'd taken some pictures of the dogs on the other side of a fence who were playing. When the romance kicked in my father was yelling at me to take it, 'cause it's love... but I just couldn't take a picture of dogs humping.
Some nice photos, Gulcrapek; thank you.

Really? That must be why it said Furman Hall on the entrance. I thought there was another section or something.
Its a rather extensive Avalon Bay development, I believe Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron are the architects for the buildings. Even though I remember reading Arquiteconica did the master plan.West Houston&Mercer Sts, Manhattan - I forgot what project this is. Is it the BBB designed one?
I'm not sure that's so, Stern. The buildings in the photograph are of glitzy Soho condominiums that are close to completion. The Avalon development is further east, on what is currently a rubble-strewn wasteland between Bowery and Chrystie.
A rendering--yes, by Arquitectonica--can be found here:

I believe this development extends from different parcels in the lower east side and Soho along Houston Street.
I saw the Avalon site too, pretty deep hole. As for the building in question it's looking more and more to me to be those 'SoHO style lofts' that BBB is designing, I remember they were on West Houston St.
That development and the one next to it are not part of the Avalon development. This was built on a former gas station, pretty small lot.
It is the BBB site:

The church tower is Judson Memorial Church - McKim, Mead, and White
