Here is a sampling of photos from the past year.
There is no end to the amount of photo op's The City provides.

These are really wonderful - without exception - and they all give me a sense of "I'm almost there". And that's a great feeling

That's why I think NYC is so cool - so many things to see, from just as many angles...

Seriously those are some good pics. I'm new to these forums as well. What part of the city is this pic from?

    Harlem.
I can highly recommend going on one of those gospel tours on wednesday or sunday, they leave from midtown by bus and last about 3-4 hours and you attend part of a church service as well. Our guide was really good.
O.K., it's a tad 'touristy' but a tour like that gives you a good taste of what's to see in Harlem. It's certainly not all slums, like so many people still think. Some areas are *very* nice. I'm going back there this year on my next NYC trip, for sure.

Beautiful. Pictures make me even more homesick for the city I call my home away from home one week each year.

Thank you so much for these great pix! I remember watching the bagpipe bands marching by on that misty Manhattan day, the skyscrapers along 6th Ave disappearing in the fog.

Just like someone said: it's almost like being there.
