I remember Plaxell showed this cool idea for a bridge at one time to community board. I don't know what came of it.
Don"t know the square footage but the building is huge

I was browsing Karl Fischer's recently updated website and found this:

I think the Clock tower might be correct however, when I tried to look up the address on the DOB site, it says this address was not found in their system.
Anyway, the question now is will this get built considering the economic times that we're in?
Anyone know why the Powerhouse website is down or where in the stage they are to opening?

No clue where this one is. There are also a few Flushing condos on the page, nothing special but better than the standard. As for the "Manhattan Tower" your guess is as good as mine.
The first one seems to behind the Queens Plaza garage right next to the Long Island Star Building (scroll down).
It isn't right next the LI Star building but will instead replace it.
After consulting google maps along with the DOB application it is quite clear to me that it wont replace the Long Island Star building. In fact this building will actually start at the corner of queens plaza and go south to about 90 feet from the end of the southern corner.
The application says it starts at the north east corner of 28th street which is actually the corner at the southern side of the Plaza and ends at 90 feet from the corner of the Star Building. Also the address listed of the property being replaced is north of the Star Building.
It would be a bummer to lose the LI Star building. it would make great lofts....it could just use an addition. I tried to use property shark, but I hate Queens addresses.
The developers of Fusion are developing the LI Star building. Supposedly 25 stories, *IF* they get approval. Condo-conversion. Keeping the original bottom part and adding to it. A few year away though.
i really hope they get it approved because that building needs work and maybe they will reroute that bus line in front of it
