Or because it's wildly successful without the expense...http://ny.curbed.com/archives/2013/0...ales_check.php

It just occurred to me you meant 400 PAS. HAH! Some of it is rentals. There are ads all over the base of the building for renting there, it seems. Not sure how much of the building is going to be rental vs. sales.

This tower is stunning. I hoped that 217 W 57th would be a 1500' version of this.

Forgive me if this was covered earlier in thread. How tall is this supposed to be and how much further along is it right now? It does look incredible.

I think it's topped out. It's suppose to be 476 feet which unfortunately isn't much by Manhattan standards.

At least it stands out somewhat in that fairly open part of Manhattan.

    It barely stands out, unfortunately.

The most notable new tower in that area will be 41 East 22nd, which will be taller than everything else -- at least until the residential addition atop MetLife is built (if ever).

Yeah, how awful that we can't see it from everywhere.

I think we were fortunate enough to see this design built.

I'm having trouble attaching the image but thought you'd appreciate an update:

I would love to see the sidewalks and medians widened on PAS.

How wild that this is a rental building.
