    15 Hubert St

The three buildings are 407 - 411 Greenwich St; it's called 15 Hubert because that's the building around the corner, which will serve as the entry lobby. According to historic records, the four buildings were always connected. Built in 1867 as storage buildings, when the area was converting from residential to commercial. Back again.

    c1980:

The original building material was brick. A 1980s renovation (before landmarking) added a layer of stucco, scored to look like stone blocks.

Does anyone know the status of the Herzog de Meuron building on West Street?

This Hulking Building Will Bring 47 Apartments to Tribeca

A new, rather large residential building will soon spring up on the corner of West and Vestry streets in Tribeca. The development site is part of six parcels that Related Companies purchased in the area in March 2014 along with Ponte Equities, who sold their long-time Tribeca eatery on the adjacent corner to focus on the real estate game. YIMBY spotted a first rendering for the building, which will bring 47 apartments spread over 13 floors to 70 Vestry Street. Ben Joseph of Bridge Land Vestry LLC filed the permits, and Ismael Leyva is the architect of record.

The building will be 154,019 square feet in all meaning that, with only 800 square feet set aside for retail, the apartments will average a ginormous 3,000 square feet. YIMBY thinks the building may be limestone, but a recent trend in Tribeca says that it'll probably just be some cheaper imitation material made to look like limestone. Two small building have already been razed at the site, and the plan exam is partially approved, meaning that construction could begin soon.
