Another nice find Derek. What's the white, low building in the middle? Look like a Transformer about to pounce.

Which ones? I am amazed that 52-56 W 57th is still fallow.

I think the upper floors of the building will sway with heavy wind west - east. maybe it makes it more fun.

Do the upper panels on the west elevation look different because they're more recently installed or some of them are louvers? They seem a lot darker.

A few are definitely louvers, but I really just think they look darker because they are clean. There was such a long break between the windows before and these. I'm pretty sure it'll all match up once cleaned. I guess I could go hunting for photos from back in september last year when the panels were still being put up. Let's see...

Looks like Gene Kaufman likes One57's Klimt effect.

I guess it all depends on how it turns out in person. You know, I really like the Wyndham on, uh, hmm, 25th st? that looks like a Sol LeWitt piece.

I think that Vinoly's stick attempted to copy Sol DeWitt.

The really sad part is, if he had just left off the blue crap in the center,
it would have been the best looking piece 'o crap he's coloured with a crayon on paper
    to date.

Very well, too, if you Google Sol LeWitt Sculpture.
