I'm pretty sure that students enrolled in public high schools have to live with a parent or guardian.

I'm not sure whether you can get a student visa for attending a high school in the states but you can, attending a college.

If your under 18 I would think your'll have to go over with someone who is over 18 aka a family member and if your over 18 then you have to apply to the place where you want to go. If your accepted then you can apply for a visa.
