Oprah's BFF Gayle King Lists Midtown Penthouse for $7.9M

Oprah BFF Gayle King paid a bit over $7 million for the penthouse at East 57th Street's Place 57 back in 2008, possibly with Oprah's assistance. Now Gayle is moving on. The sharp-eyed folks at The Real Estalker notice that Gayle's place is back on the market for $7.9 million, a relatively modest mark-up. The place might have had some work done, since the listing mentions "brand new rich walnut floors that have just been laid and a barely used Viking state-of-the-art kitchen."
