Yesterday, 6sqft revealed Mark Foster Gage Architects’ (MFGA) captivating supertall proposal at 41 West 57th Street. But on the more modest end of the size spectrum, the firm has envisioned an elegant and dynamic 11-story residential building at 141 Chrystie Street on the Lower East Side. The project would rise from a narrow site between Delancey and Broome Streets, which currently holds a two-story building that, at one point or another, held the shuttered nightlife venues LES Sports Bar, Mystique, Chrystie 141, and Inga.
