I walked by to check out 163 Charles, which is nearing completion, but it 's been completely draped in construction netting.

Found another photo with a clear view.

Note the I-beam sticking out at the top. And I don't know what those white pipes sticking out of the curtain wall are for.

There is a clear protective film over the blue panels, and the trim pieces are not installed.

Interesting to see if they'll cover up that concrete wall, otherwise it looks unfinished and very unsightly.

    Courageous building pulls it off.

    Hudson Blue (corcoran.com)

At that page ^^^ there is a virtual tour that has a great pan shot up the facade showing what is still to be installed ...

no prob -- I was very relieved to see that the final building won't be as blue as it is now

I think the blue-est part we're seeing now in Zip's pic is the protective covering on the metal panels (and which will be peeled away).

I think you and ablarc are going to be pleased.

Sorry lofter, but to me the film looks clear, not the usual blue construction covering. I only mentioned it because in sunlight, it makes the surface more reflective. I think the final look will be just a little toned down.

    I like it.

Hmmm ... I'll reserve judgment for now .

After all, there's BLUE ... and then there's BLUE ...

That whole block looks good, and the blue gives it focus.
