    Default Mystery slab appears!

    Hi Guys,

I was hoping you could solve a little bit of a construction mystery for me. As of maybe two or three months ago a giant concrete slab has appeared between Lexington and Park on 27th street.

It has nothing coming out of it and is positioned half on the street; there's no ongoing construction even though it is separated from traffic.

It looks permanent but doesn't appear to have any function. What could this be?

Haha, well that is one bizarre spot for it. I guess the work on that building is more serious than it looks if they need a crane (ordinary apartment building).

    I'm guessing serious roof issues.
