    They could've given the High Line Tower a little room.

    This site was likely flooded by Sandy's storm surge. Do you guys think designers of multi-story buildings along Manhattan's and Brooklyn's waterfront should give more consideration to coastal flooding in the designs of their projects? I'm not sure what more can be done. Elevated lobbies? watertight basements to protect equipment doesn't seem too feasible.

    But maybe we'll have to start planning for a Venetian Lower Manhattan in a century or two.
