Every Thursday evening, the East Village plays host to a fantastic live music event. Live Cuban band, "Frank Bambara and His Salseros" playing traditional son from the island. Great place to learn how to dance for free.
A DJ plays a wonderful mix to fill-in for the band until closing. Wonderful venue for those interested in the music or mingling with a very relaxed crowd. There is NO COVER because we want to make it as accessible as possible. Where: The Sunburnt Cow, 137 Avenue C, Between 8th and 9th When: Every Thursday @ 930 p.m. Specials: 2-for-1 Mojitos, $20 three-course dinner RSVP: eventscoordinator@empates.com Last edited by peyi123; July 26th, 2005 at 05:27 PM. |
