Where in Manhattan do you want to go? Downtown? Uptown? Midtown? Sometimes the bus is the better option.

East 34th Street, Midtown. Will have luggage, would that be ok on bus?

Bus will be A-OK for luggage. Check to see if you can get a bus to the "terminal" on Park Avenue just south of Grand Central. Gets you closer to your ultimate destination than a bus to Port Authority. Then you could get a cab -- or walk, if you're up for it.

I have taken the bus to GCT from Newark. Takes about an hour and fifteen, depending on traffic. As Lofter indicated you can walk from thereThe train will take you to 34th and 7th (penn station), which is a bit of a longer walk.

Question LGA to Port Authority? then walk?

Question: Coming next week. Spur of the moment. Arriving at LGA. Staying at the Distrikt Hotel (40th and 8thSt) close to the Port Authority.

Best way to get here with one piece of luggage/carry on as well. Will be arriving at night. 7pm.

    Thanks
