SantaCon 2012 invades Manhattans West Side with boozy Santas who urinate and vomit in the streets, cops say.

He sees you when you're barfing - and knows when you're passed out.
An NYPD lieutenant, claiming the naughty outnumber the nice at the annual SantaCon bar crawl, urged bar owners in Hell's Kitchen and Midtown to steer clear of the holiday event.

"Having thousands of intoxicated partygoers roam the streets urinating, littering, vomiting and vandalizing will not be tolerated in our neighborhood," wrote Lt. John Cocchi of the Midtown North Precinct.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and he plans to hit the bars in Hells Kitchen and Midtown.

"The negative impact that this event will bring to your community will far outweigh the short term benefit to your establishment."

Santa, baby, you're supposed to put the presents UNDER the tree.

The event - billed as a charity fundraiser - is set for 10 a.m. on Dec. 14. The starting point is revealed the night before, with participants urged to dress up as Santa or other holiday-themed characters.
The exact route is given out via social media once the event gets underway, so it's unclear whether Hell's Kitchen bars are part of the event.

Midtown North Precinct is gearing up to handle the drunks. Above, police officers talk to one reveler in 2012.

A police source said the thousands of wandering red-clad revelers was becoming a bigger issue with each year.

Cops are warning New Yorkers that SantaCon isn't as innocent as you might think.

"It's a disaster," the source said. "Everyone's urinating and vandalizing property. It's a bunch of drunk guys in Santa outfits."
The letter from Cocchi already convinced one bar owner to reject a request from SantaCon organizers to host an after party at his place.
The notoriously press-shy SantaCon hosts did not respond to emails seeking reaction to the letter.
