With the transit strike settled I can go ahead with my planned photo tour.
Nothing special for Wired veterans but perhaps you will see things differently from my point of view. (And I can learn fron you!) We meet on East 86th Street at 9:00 A.M. Walk will take about four hours, ending up in midtown. For more info send me a PM. |

The city didn't seem to be crowded today. Was anyone else out and about?

I think a lot of people left for the holidays. The strike caused a lot of New Yorkers to take very long weekends I think and just get out of the City.

Here is an image taken during yesterday's tour. Our group enjoyed my suggestion of employing a slow shutter speed when photographing skaters. Temperature was 56 degrees(F), making it one of the most pleasant Christmas Eve days I can recall.
