This street is taking on a vancouver look. This building could use at least another 10 floors.

10 more floors of mediocre? I don't think so. I'd rather have 10 more floors of Three Ten sans the crappy base.

There is hope for the base....but if it's a Duane Reade or Chase I'll have to load this thread with faces.

^ That's a given. A nice restaurant or bakery would be too much to ask for these days.

Anyway, I like the Veneto, a nice, pleasant little tower all around. Nothing to write home about but also not horrible either.

UN Plaza was built in the 60's.

RFK SR. and Johnny Carson lived there in that decade.

This building is nothing spectacular. More filler and just another east side residential building.

I like the hue of the brick, so much better than the lifeless facade going up on the new medical building at 72nd Street and 1st Avenue.

They've taken down the scaffolding on 53rd street revealing what looks like an interesting dark wooden facade around the main entrance... sorry, i forgot to take a pic when I passed by it.

Nope, but I'll place big money on either a Chase Bank, a North Fork Bank, a Duane Reade, or a Commerce Bank. All brands that I personally find underrepresented in this metropolis we call New York.

    Default Finally closing!

We're going to do our walk-through in about 2 weeks, and hope to close near the end of the month! It's been a looooong wait.

Just did our walk-through today. Everything was quite good! Just a few minor items. Place seemed very well put together.
