    It seems like the only ones that's worth anything are European or at least from outside this city.

    The only thing I do credit this building's developer for is the fact that varied materials were used. While the street-level experience is still totally subpar, The Veneto looks like a million bucks compared to a new all dull dark glass condo/hospital building that is just getting completed on 72nd street and 1st Avenue on the former site of the Hi Life Restaurant (among other lowrise walkups).
