Only a fool would ask if his posts were being targeted without first knowing the answer - which is so easy to do.

You have 20 posts dating back to June 2010; I've responded to one, not counting your last foolish remark.

I see you at least had the sense to edit your last post.

As for the , maybe you should read instead of just looking at pictures.

You posted in this thread that you'd like to live in Dubai, and that all of us would too. You're entitled to your opinion, but no thanks.

Curious as to why you prefer these shitty societies.

    I agree with FutureCity.

As wealthy of a country we are, it should be possible to build and equally clean and efficient system without relying on low-paid immigrant workers. Just imagine if we diverted half the funds spent on the military towards public transportation. It’s just that the will is not there.

Pointing out Dubai’s system was built by “slave labor” and faulting their society only reveals the excuses we give for our incompetence and shows the can’t do spirit of this country.

The comparison wasn't brought up by me:

Just shows how rich Dubai is compared to NYC
Life is more than some people here imagine it to be.

Let's see how clean + shiny Dubai looks in ten years. Let alone 100.

Wow. Now I'm the fool? Ha.

You hate my ideas, so you resort to that word. I don't give a hoot though.

I just tell it as it is. NYC's subway is a disgrace.

Did you read all about wonderful Dubai?

I hate your ideas? I stalk you (as you edited out)? I answered your posts once in 8 months. You are an extremely paranoid fellow. It will serve you well in the shitty societies you favor.

It has nothing to do with societies. It has to do with aesthetics only and priorities. Dubai cares about the public experience and likes to make a good impression globally. NYC is above that, and has become complacent.

    Really?

It has to do with aesthetics only and priorities.
Priorities? Then you might want to edit this out:
Dubai cares about the public experience.

Public experience --> aesthetics, design, cleanliness, etc.... don't twist my words. You call me paranoid? I call you captious and pedantic.

Are you a lawyer by the way? You sound like a litigator.

Anyway, NYC has a transport image problem. How hard is that too accept?

If Dubai cares about making a good impression globally, I'd have to say they have failed horribly in recent years.

Have you been to Dubai? I know several people who frequent Dubai who are very impressed.
