    At least at the current shortened height Bryant Park is still visible from Top of the Rock.

    The crappy little buildings on the east side of 6th need to go.

    That whole stretch of 46th is pretty crappy looking at street level.

    I was talking about the north and south corners of the east side of 47th and 6th. Those little buildings are lousy. Overall, though, these side streets have a lot of potential. The buildings just need TLC.

    I agree, most of the actual buildings are terrific (aside from the corners).

    Will the Gem Tower lead to wider re-development on this block? It could render a number of the smaller diamond industry buildings less useful, if companies move from the old buildings to the new.

    I'd like to see the old buildings turned into hotels or apartments. There are some real gems on that street.
