That's my city!!! (Pounds chest with pride). Jersey City really is beautiful. My college is in those pics, the two brick houses are part of Saint Peter's College campus. Saint Peter's College dates back to 1872 when it originated in Downtown Jersey City. I love my school.

Looking good. I've only ever seen it from New York. Much nicer than I imagined. Another ten buildings or so to fill in some of the gaps. You get a great view of the Jersey City skyline from Brooklyn: (1) heading west on the Belt Parkway west of the Verrazano - you can see the Downtown Skyline and Jersey City, and (2) heading south from Queens on the BQE - Jersey City, Brooklyn and Downtown look like one incredible conglomeration at first and then they separate out to three distinct skylines. If only I had a camera...

The new stuff: take a second look at how most of it meets the street.

When was the first photo with the ice in the Hudson taken? Couldn't have been this year. I'm guessing either 2003 or 2004.
