why would they not be able to have timewarner? is this a situation where RCN paid them some money to be the package provider?

Anyone know when these floors were originally estimated to close? I thought closings were expected in December.

in 3d Crossview stereo photography...To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard.

Anyone have any experiences on move in? I have been waiting as my potential move in becomes progressively delayed. The sales office here is beginning to be very difficult to work with.

This ^ is the same refrain we hear from almost each and every new-construction condo in NYC as completion / move-in dates approach.

Has anyone who has closed here used an outside advisor or professional when doing the pre-closing walkthrough?

Thanks - I have asked to have my architect (we are doing a renovation) accompany me on the walkthrough. Building management has so far said no. I don't get that - why would having an architect be out of policy?

Architects know what to look for -- and can rad floorplans better than the average Joe. Ergo, developers only want the architects who are on their payroll to be near the building prior to closing.

Makes one wonder about what a developer might be trying to hide, eh?

Thats what makes me nervous - its like not being able to take the lawyer to the closing. I am having my lawyer check with theirs again - others I have spoken to who have closed at other places has not run into this issue. If they stand by their quality, I don't get why they have an issue.

If you've actually signed a contract on the apartment, would you really need to ask them to bring an architect? I'd just show up on the doorstep with him there and ask to be let in...

Uploading a picture from what I found to be my favorite apartment, duplex at 27th floor. I'm a sucker for a good view, although the NYMEX is a tad bit too high.
