I just heard a rumor that this will be a condo hotel and a condo. Anything out there to verify this?
Judging by the way 785 8th Ave is coming out so far compared to its rendering, I would say this one will look nothing like the beautiful rendering we were given. Looks like this rendering has similar "ribs" half way up like over at 785...
These images were recently posted on Ismael Leyva's website. Perhaps the reason why construction has stopped. The foundation is complete by the way.

Horrible. The form is very late 1970's. The treatments are simply disgusting, I'd expect more class from an Atlantic City Casino. Ismael treatments are really deplorable.

^^ Well, it matches 325 Fifth a few doors up. Maybe this IS the neighborhood color now, sigh. And how much do you want to bet that the South side not seen in the renderings is another blank cement wall?
