Thumbs up On Again Off Again On Again Off Again On Again

I just got a message from NYU, which have been on the ropes about formally supporting this project (which would entail e-blasts to the entire community through their extensive communications network). It seems with Mr. Hehman supporting the project, they are reconsidering their stance and we may see an official fund-drive for this event / endowment fron NYU. This has been a real tug-of-war with the University, although I respect where they are coming from. It is a major turn in the efforts with them - so it it worth sharing.

So, we'll see what we will see.

Again I ask - what exactly will we be doing? What do I need to bring?

If you have gloves for gardening, bring them. Other than that, NYRP will supply everything. Be there at 10:00AM!

I hate to say it, but it looks like heavy rain for tomorrow. Can we garden in that?

Well that was a nice experience... all you people are too nice to be real. Except I suppose being there and all, you are real. Unless you weren't there and I was making a fool out of myself talking to nobody but vivid hallucinations. And eating false donuts.

If you are real, it was a great experience and it was very rewarding to do something for the greater good with good people.

I feel like such a jerk. My boyfriend forgot that I had to get up early and didn't set the alarm on time.

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet any of you, but would it be possible for me to volunteer on my own at a later date?

    Thumbs up

I'm heading to dinner. Quick note for folks.

Local tv stations CBS-2, NBC-4, and ABC-7 all covered the event. Watch for coverage on the dinner time local news broadcast - maybe 11PM. Not sure of the times. I think CBS is at 6:00PM.

Forgive me for any gaffs in my commentary - it was a long day and we worked hard. Thanks to everyone. I'm on the run - not even home yet.

It was a GREAT day for WiredNewYork and a great day of honor for JB.
