On first sight the elevation reminded me a little of the BellSouth tower in Nashville:

Seems they're uploading these pics as we speak. This wasn't up 2 minutes ago.

Wonder what is going to occupy that low-rise section? I'd like the building better without it.

Pianoman, those are breathtaking. I'm guessing we are getting 3 spires from this building.

Lofter, take another look. I believe with the rendering you referenced, it's just the camera lens angle making things look more angular and dynamic. All the other renders show a flat roof.

Here's another rendering that also sort of almost looks like it could be slanted, but please note with all the renders that the floor lines are all parallel to the roof line.

And even then, that just cannot be Maki's final design. If so, he should be banned from doing any more work in the city, perhaps the entire country. Right now it looks like a 7WTC confused over whether it wants to be a box or a parallelogram.

And I like the Rogers tower, but those 4 dinky spires need to go. The design is strong enough that it doesn't need 'em.

I'm not a fan of exposed structurals... I think Rogers should've went all glass. It doesn't blend with the other 3 buildings at all.

The more I look at this tower, the more I feel it will overtake Tower 2, but I mustn't let it!
