Wasn't that supposed to be the museum? The Apple store is supposedly being put in front of Winter Garden.

The glass box is a placeholder for the proposed Performing Arts Center by Frank Gehry.

    Thanx, Lofter1.

Looks like a pile of giant ice blocks on stilts. And the twisting foobridge, didn't know about that one before.

Then don't read it! Use the IGNORE button. And I'm so tired of you and your idiocy!

It WAS posted somewhere here that it was the case. Even if it won't happen, it was mentioned.

DMAG had asked: Is this the headhouse....or a new Apple Store. (ka-cha!) over in the Winter Garden thread, post# 66 page# 5.

Apple might not be putting a store there now, but it WAS mentioned by someone else other than myself. I was NOT the first one to mention or ask about it.

And if you'd bothered to even read the post a little bit more carefully, you'd have noticed that I said SUPPOSEDLY, meaning that it IS doubtful of happening.

So now, suck it up! And don't EVER doubt me again! I'm so sick of you and your crap!! You're a dispicable bully!! I don't want to talk about this with you any more, you boneheaded idiot!!

Both comments were jokes. This should have clued you.

No Apple Store was considered at either place.

Just drop it; it's getting embarrassing.

This is the problem. You're impossible to ignore. You post everywhere everyday, and continually crowd out informative posts with your misinformation and mildly retarded musings. For the love of God, could you please get some perspective. You're out of control.

Could not have said this better any other way. I think its absolutely hilarious that Daquan believes that just because a glass box is being setup next to the Winter Garden that an Apple store is automatically being placed inside of it. Believe it or not Apple is not the exclusive owner of all glass boxes everywhere.

Back on Topic: It appears that Japanese architects just enjoy designing boxy and bland buildings. It is quite obvious if you look at Tokyo or Osaka what a mess they made. This building's boring design is no exception. Why on earth did they hire Maki of all people? NY needs to progress, not regress. A glass box isn't exactly inspiring to look at. I realize that the WTC is a conservative and somber setting, but looking at midtown shows me that NYC is just following the same boxy route. Most buildings have very little 'art' to them at all, unlike cities in Korea, China and India. Even London is building more interesting groundscrapers than our talls. It is sad how a developing city can product such artful buildings, while mature cities get into ruts building the same type of buildings over and over again.

You're posting the same stuff over and over, with little alterations, over many threads.

Why don't you start a blog, and put it all there.
