Why morons? They're building a 1.5 million square foot office building. What do you do from 9-5?

Why would you even take the time to write something like that?

Clearly these aguys are all pros and experts in what they do.

    Best news from the vid:

B1 is the highest of the basement floors.

Right, but if you've just finished a pour on one floor, would you really be able to set up and pour another whole floor plate of that size in just a few weeks if you're still dealing with underground infrastructure? Sorry, I'm so uninformed about construction...it's great to have you guys around to learn from! I've studied Architectural History for years but none of that education ever taught the practical side of modern construction :[

As mentioned in the Vid, there are all sorts of chemicals added to concrete these days that make it dry faster than in the past. Plus the chemicals strengthen it. Lots of expertise involved.

I took a class in concrete design in college. So much thought goes into the right mix, pouring and curing process, however much of the later 2 items go out the window when the pour goes down b/c it's very difficult to control what happens at the work site. The whole process kind of reminds me of football where the spot is so arbitrary yet chains are used to preceisely measure for a first down.

My apologies for the window glare. Taken over the last few days.
