    My pleasure brianac.
It will be another perfect day tomorrow, zippy, so it will be a sublime experience. The cherry trees in the "Cherry Esplanade" were on the verge of blooming but not quite yet, while the trees around the Japanese lake were in full splendor, and the Magnolias were bursting with color and fragrance. Enjoy!

I'm going to try to return for the Sakura Matsuri festival on May 3rd or 4th

I've never attended but it looks really fun!

Beautiful pictures MG. I'll definitely have to visit the garden(s) when I visit.

    Thanks for posting them,
    Ben

    Great stuff, MG.

The last two days have been glorious -- NYC at its best.

Central Park is busting out and folks are loving it ...

    I'll be watchin' you ...

Great photographs of the park Lofter.

Reminds me of when I visited in April 2005.

Nice photos Lofter. Central Park is always awesome!

I may just have to add some of my own pictures to this thread throughout the week that I visit New York this summer.

That is ... if I get what I'm wishing for for graduation.

I think that will be summer so maybe you should post them in a thread titled something like "Summer in the Big Apple"

April is the best -- the first two weeks are almost always when the flowers are in greatest abundance.

Anyone know off the top of their head what admission is into the Brooklyn Botanical Garden?

    Thanks,
    Ben

Hope you don't mind if I post one of mine. My favourite part of the City.

    Verdi Square April 2005.
