Also, another good pic of the sign
Closeup of marriot
1 WTC entrance from west
Some cool "windows" pics
Some Cows from the Cow Parade outside the WTC
Those should be good
Interesting use of the Twin Towers on the cows...
Thanks heaps. These photos are great. Do you know if they had signs for the plaza buildings as well (4, 5 and 6 WTC)?
Yes, they did. But i can't find any pics with them in it.
Look in this pic
and the next from emporis.
i think its by the tallest lamp post
Sweet pics. has this just turned into a pic thread, lol
No, while STR is on "vacation" (excuse the pun) I have been using this thread for the same thing he has been using it for - to recieve and collect information to be used in a 3D model of the original World Trade Center complex.
Hey finnman, when was the third pic taken? I was never aware that there was a small open area near 2 WTC - was it there just after the WTC was constructed? And was there a bridge between 4 WTC and 2 WTC? Plus, does anyone know how many steps there were on the stairs between the Twin Towers and the plaza buildings?

Don't call what I'm on a vacation. It is the exact opposite of a vacation. I am sleep deprived and constantly doing work I don't want to do.
And that last pic is from Banker's Trust Plaza.
aka the Deutsche Bank building (now under de-construction)
They used that building and the plaza for locations in a film adaptation of "HAMLET" (directed by Michael Almereyda; 2000) with Ethan Hawke, Bill Murray, Kyle MacLachlan, Liev Schrieber, Julia Stiles, Sam Shepard, Steve Zahn and Diane Venora.
Interesting movie. Some good visuals and shots of that area from 2000.
I said excuse the pun, god.
Nah, seriously, sorry. I understand.
So Lofter, about the Marriot footprint?
lol ^^^
yes, as we were saying ...
If you're including the sidewalk then it looks about right.
All that tech stuff from FEMA probably gives you a better picture ...
Thanks. I'll get to it later, I'm busy now (watching United 93, lol)
That movie was so sad![]()
BTW joelio, I don't think it has to be THAT exact lol. Just put like 10 in
