Can You Bike Here?!?

I exit the Greenway on bike everymorning at 79th street. On more than one occasion I get yelled at by the maintenance workers that I have to dismount my bike until I get up to the street. Is this true?

The Greenway for most of Riverside Park is a shared pathway.

NYC parks rule: Biking is not permitted on pedestrian pathways.

Okay, so does anyone know if there are any entryways onto the greenway in the 70's-60's where you do not have to dismount your bike to access it from the street?
