Looks like they are right at the 46th mechanical floor. Will slow down from here on.

This design is interesting and will be a nice addition to the skyline. I don't care for the shiny turd at the base though

I think that so called"shiny turd" (http://www.chicagotraveler.com/cloud-gate-chicago), is one of the best things about this!

Have to wonder if that sculpture will ever actually be installed though maybe some of the highfalutin "residents" will have insisted upon it during purchase.

My guess is it's been budgeted and commissioned.

Ok now I see the point of the concave floor plates.

If it becomes a tourist attraction like its counterpart in Chicago, the "residents" may really regret it being there.

I really thought for some time that the sculpture was just there to hold the building up.

don't worry, I highly doubt there's any chance of that thing being something the average person intentionally wants to see

we get it- you don't care for the sculpture but...you'd be wrong, plenty of "average" people will want to see it.

Given the proximity to the WTC, which we be one of the most visited sites on the planet...I imagine both the sculpture and the building itself will be viewed by hordes.
