Also, the base is really amazing, just like the top.

AS I now recall there are a lot of those 'cantilevered' balconies appearing at the lower few floors on street level, things get a little less varied in the middle section, I guess the whole thing could not take that same varied form from top to bottom. The 'bean' sculpture will be a nice addition: if that is still part of the project.

Then anyone passing by should be impressed enough not to mistake it for another typical.
Speaking of the 'bean'. Here is an interesting exercise in artistic juxtaposition: this Jeff Koons exhibition reminded me of the ‘glass bean’ sculpture that is to be placed in front of 56 Leonard.

The ‘glass bean’ is to ’56 Leonard’ as the ‘blue glass ball’ is to ‘this painting’. Hmmm ..... I wonder, is that 'bean' a Jeff Koons piece too, I dont recall.

Jeff Koons is a HACK! see:http://www.cartoonbrew.com/fine-art/...toy-99475.html
The bean is actually by an Indian-born British artist named Anish Kapoor.

    Floors without glass means problems.

I'd love to see that BMU try to clean the windows of a floor beneath a cantilever.
