Default New Construction in New York City

I have spent some time updating the New Construction page on Wired New York, and I would welcome your corrections, comments, and suggestions.

You could include renderings of some of the projects without one, like Bloomberg, NYTT, 7WTC etc.

Bear Stearns, with an a.

Also, it would be nice to have many more construction photos provided for many more projects - you could take from those posted on the forum after asking permission, I'm sure most if not all of us would let you.

It would probably be too expensive, but don't they sell little wireless cameras that send images to your computer? You can set a few of them up around the biggest construction sites (I.E. WTC site) and have live streaming video feed to the website, kind of like the bloomberg camera. I think it'd be rather hard to set up though. Also, something like that would take up a lot of bandwith on the server. Though it'd be nice to have video feed of new constructions. Perhaps instead, there can be a camera that will take a picture there once a month and then it can be made into a film that will move as the construction progresses. But I think both of those ideas would require a significant amount of time, work, and money.

I'm happy you did. I nice to keep all fans of skyscrapers from around the world informed about NYC's development. Especially if it's info from the locals.

At the top right of every page, there's a link

back to Wired New York.

The New Construction link is there.

I do not remember coming across these two projects, anyone knows what are they and whether we have existing threads? Pictures from 16 October 2004.

The second picture is an additional wing they are adding to the NYU Tisch Hospital. We are going to deliver our first child there in the next couple of months, so I have been watching it every time we go for an appointment. Next time we go I'll grab some updated pics.

I need help identifying these 3 projects, anyone knows what are they and whether we have existing threads?

Corner of Spring Street and Renwick Street. Sign says 302 Spring Street/515 Canal Street.

Located between Renwick and Hudson Streets, next to Canal Street. (Update: it's 255 Hudson Street)

On the sign - 377 Greenwich.

The second one might be 505 Greenwich's little brother (if I'm at all in the right area).

The third one is listed with the DOB as 7 floors, 105 ft, 75,533 sqft, designed by Matt Markowitz.
