It is crazy! Imagine getting out of a vehicle on that driveway.
I expect a America's Funniest Home video out of this subdivison real soon....
Where is it?
I don't know where this is, but those look like they may be NY plates on those cars in picture 2. Someone from my office forwarded these pictures around about a year ago, and I just came across them again. He doesn't know where they were taken either.
Can you believe the concrete contractor actually went ahead and poured those slabs like that? I laugh pretty hard each time I look at these.
Gives new meaning to the long-worn admonishment from cautious mothers that their kids be careful when playing in the driveway.
Looks like red clay. My guess is a development in Georgia, 'Bama, or the Carolinas. Well, it will make a nice slide for the kiddies and a sled trail for the rare snowfall. Curious. Did someone actually buy this?
I'm looking at the driveway in the first image wondering how they actually poured the slab like that. Wouldn't the pour just flow down the slope? Can you imagine building formwork for something as ridiculous as this?
Vehicles that would have a hard time navigating this driveway:
1960 Lincoln
1976 Cadillac Eldorado
1964 Chevy Impala "low rider" mod
and just about everything else ever built. Possible exceptions:
Yugo
Trabant
Le Car
Austin Mini
Lincoln Navigator (after all, it SAYS it's a "navigator.")
Ford Expansive, er uh... Explosive, no that's not it. Exponential. Nope, that's not it either. Oh yeah: Explorer or Expedition.
People who would have a hard time navigating this driveway: Me.
Great site though for Personal Rapid Transit (PRT), perhaps similar to the inclines in Pittsburgh.
