Default Slightly morbid historical question -

Does anyone know details about the first plane that ran into a building in Manhattan, before the ESB? Like what year and what building, location? Thanks -

I heard a fighter hit 40 Wall Street before or during WWII, a P-39 or P-40 or something.

I worked with a guy that saw the Park Slope accident as a child. He was walking along the street and saw an arm. :(
