The lights of Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. The view from Queensborough Bridge.
Same, with the addition of Trump World Tower.

What power is your zoom, Edward?
This one is taken with 135 mm lens on Canon D20
I allowed myself to work on one of your photographs, by hoping that you like the result

wow, fantastic shots!
Beautiful pictures. The New York City skyline never ceases to amaze and inspire me.

That is a nice shot..I like the fact that you have used the bridge to frame the top of your picture. It adds the element of depth to it.. Only the skyline and the two trees would definitely be a less desirable one.. Awesome..

Love the way Trump stands out in that last pic. Definitely not a plateau skyline in this view. Need more supertalls.
SHORPY has an enormous shot of the QB from 1909, looking east across the river with the New York Architectural Terra Cotta Works building down below ...

New York circa 1909. "East River and Blackwell's Island Bridge,"
a.k.a. the Queensboro Bridge or the 59th Street Bridge,
around the time of its completion.

We now have slick glass buildings in the shape of slugs and ski slopes, and we have shiny reclads galore, but New York was better then because it had intimacy. Buildings huddled in sensational gaggles such as you could find in 1909 at the Queens end of the bridge.
Better than a park.
(Especially one full of towers.)
