Tickets

The Daily Show tapes four new episodes a week, Monday through Thursday. The cast holds an afternoon rehearsal, then doors open to the public at 5:45 PM. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older, and tickets are usually required to get in. However, there are sometimes leftover seats. Taping of the program begins in front of the audience at 6:30 PM.



The Daily Show Studio at 733 Eleventh Avenue.

I was at the show when they were two blocks down....

It was fun, and free. Only thing is, even with a ticket, sometimes you have to get there early to be guaranteed a seat.

As he joked earlier in the season when they first moved, the area is not the best of spots to be standing around during the summer as it is close to the horse and carrage stables between the West Side Highway and 11th I believe....

But I do recommend hitting the show. If you are lucky, you can get a really good one (look for ANY show featuring a political commontator or figure NOT a popular actor/actress).

Yeah, Seth Green was a bit dissappointing. Especially when I missed Bill Clinton by a couple days...

At least you did not get "The Rock".

I didn't either....

I got Robbins. He was funny, but not one of the guys that you see him just waiting until the music starts playing before he starts talking to him like crazy.....
