Description
Located in Times Square, Paramount Hotel, which will become the Hard Rock Hotel New York in Fall of 2005, is a stylish, art nouveau notel designed by Philippe Stark. The Paramount Hotel was bought by Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts from Morgans Hotel Group, formerly Ian Schrager Hotels in July of 2004 for $126.5 million.
Located among Broadway theaters, a half-block from Times Square and the TKTS discount-tickets booth, this hotel is four blocks from Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Philippe Starck-design in the lobby showcases an asymmetrical staircase, oversized chairs, and tables made of split logs. Celebrity graffiti adorns the walls of the popular bar.
Petite guestrooms, bright in white, feature beds with high-thread-count sheets, down comforters, down pillows, and reproductions of Old Masters paintings for headboards.
